Tracey Liberatore – Owner and Chef

Tracey started out in the food industry as a teenager.  Thru her twenties she did her fair share of bartending and waitressing for restaurants as well as private and corporate functions.

In her late twenties she opened a pub in Milford called “One Flight Down” with the help of two others.  In those days she was the “out front” person managing the bar and waitstaff.   During that time she established outside catering for companies.  That is when the food passion started.

In November ’97 after catering many corporate functions for The Courtyard in Milford she was asked to open their restaurant for lunch and dinner and provide catering for the meeting rooms.  That was a wonderful learning experience.  The customer base was local and global.  After her second child she decided to turn the business over.  After taking some time off, the hotel asked her to come back and lead the kitchen.  During that time, she won two Marriott awards – The Diamond Associate Award and the Make a Difference Award.

Tracey enjoys people, food, and wine.  She is striving to bring really good food to The Little White Market along with a terrific selection of wine and beer, and some unique gift items.

Tracey never fails to save the day. Whether it’s lunch or snacks for a meeting for my staff, a fully catered corporate function for customers, or simply because I’m running late and don’t have time to cook a good dinner for the kids, I’ve always been able to rely, and be delighted by, Tracey and the Little White Market.

On behalf of the Middlesex County Kennel Club, I want to thank you personally for providing the excellent luncheon for our annual meeting last Saturday. The selection of the panini sandwiches was fabulous, delicious, and unique in the fillings. People particularly commented on the ham with raisins, chicken (?) with strawberries, and the vegitarian selections of eggpland and portobella mushroom! The accompanying homemade chicken noodle soup was the perfect accompanyment to the sandwiches. And dessert–people were scrambling for seconds and thirds!! Thank you again!
